We simply adore this enchanted purple and red elopement inspirational shoot from MoHa Photography. Seriously guys... This here is utter perfection. From the colors used to the florals to the invites - this shoot has us swooning! And that gown?! Amazing! 

About the shoot: "This styled shoot was a collaborated effort by many great vendors but conceptualized by Leslie Kaplan of Encore Event Design and myself. We wanted something rich and detailed that really created an enchanting environment for our couple. As a styled Elopement, we wanted to focus on the couple and the details, while also including multiple locations like a "lounge" area, dining table, and cocktail/reception floor complete with an antique chandelier and vintage mantle piece. It was all about creating a fairytale atmosphere with saturated hues to bring life, inspiration, and re-introduce color to some of our spring and summer weddings!"

Moorten Botanical Gardens Desert-inspired wedding shoot

There’s nothing better than a stylized shoot that takes in the beauty of California, and incorporates the landscape in ways some wouldn’t think possible. Brian Evans did Moorten Botanical Gardens such justice in showcasing the splendor of their Cactarium. Being the first in the world, we are so glad it’s a local venue because after this shoot, we imagine brides will be lining up to celebrate their special day here.

About the shoot: When most people think of the desert, they surely envision cacti. The unique and charismatic venue, Moorten’s Botanical Gardens, is unique for its Cactarium - the first in the world. The venue naturally lent itself to the wildly-organic desert inspiration I was looking for. 

Established in 1938 in beautiful Palm Springs, California, Moorten’s private arboretum boasts 3,000 examples of desert cacti and other desert plant life. The Mediterranean-style home on property, befittingly named Cactus Castle, is in the Palm Grove Oasis, and is often described as a haven of tranquility. This beautiful botanical garden, located on the famous Palm Canyon Drive, possesses the appeal and charm of old Palm Springs.

For the final shots of the day, we moved to Eagle Rock Canyon near dusk. Nothing captures desert beauty more than awe-inspiring openness of land framed by the stunning San Jacinto mountains. 

The desert was merely the background for the real inspiration, love. The beautiful, happily-engaged couple, Josh and Jaleesa, were such a joy to shoot. The love they have for one another is undeniably sweet. Josh and Jaleesa are a truly genuine couple - thank you to them for making this stylized shoot possible.

Lisa Mallory and Lindsey Marie Events really outdid themselves on this breathtaking Southern Charm Inspired shoot. Every last detail was extraordinary from the floral arrangements, to the décor, cake, accessories, venue, and don’t even get us started on that beautiful car. The brand new venue is sure to attract brides from all over to appreciate the beauty of Lekai Ranch. This inspiration shoot is sure to show brides that Southern Charm can look stunning in California, and that barn & burlap weddings may have some serious competition.

About this shoot: This is a southern charm inspired Inspiration Shoot in California. We were looking for something different than the barn and burlap weddings we are seeing so much of.  The brand new wedding venue, Lekai Ranch, in Paso Robles was the perfect fit for our shoot! Complete with all the Southern details, we love how the "Southern Charm" Inspiration shoot came together!
