Vintage Mexican Wedding Ideas

"Our wedding day planning was slightly different to the normal process. Brett and I live in Sydney, Australia but I am from Long Beach, California and we chose to get married in Southern California. Most of the planning was done over text messages, pictures, and emails- so stressful! I had an awesome team made of my mother, aunt, and cousin who helped plan while I was still in Sydney. I came back to California about four weeks before the wedding and that's when most of the wedding planning got done in person, for me. It was four weeks of running around like headless chickens and talking about the wedding non stop, stressful but SO much fun with the right people. When the wedding day came everything ran smoothly. It was so much fun seeing all the planning come to life! If I had to name a "theme" for our wedding I would say it was vintage Mexican, which meant lots and lots of color! We also included other cultural touches like, a traditional Tongan dance, and a jarocho band. I loved it and wish I could do the day all over again! My favorite part of the day was the dancing!! We danced the night away!" -bride & groom
