A Romantic Lavender Wedding at The Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano

"Christine and Don's wedding was held at a southern Orange County garden venue boasting botanic whimsy in the middle of downtown San Juan Capistrano. This outdoor venue holds a large open space with enclosed walls covered in green luscious vines for guests to enjoy the night under the stars. It's the prefect place for an intimate wedding, simple and romantic.

We took the Bride and Groom over the Mission SJC for portraits, because she loved the old world beauty it holds. The mix of the two venues created an Old World background for their wedding story.

Amne, from Julep Bloom Design, played with dimension in both the bridal bouquet, and the floral arrangements, by adding fresh basil, mint, and lavender for a lasting, intoxicating fresh farm smell all day! We love unexpected pieces, and Amne did not disappoint! We will never get enough of surprise elements in florals! She also included lots of lilac, lavender, and plum ribbons to create the ethereal style Christine wanted." -Hello Blue Photography
