Romantic Vineyard Wedding at Triunfo Creek Vineyards

"Chris and Kristin were married at Triunfo Creek Vineyards, and their wedding was an airy and neutral dream! Kristin wore a lace sweetheart neckline mermaid-style gown, and her groom rocked navy - We love a good navy suit! Kristin's bridesmaids chose mix and match neutral Joanna August gowns, and the ruffles and ethereal styles perfectly complemented each of their styles! The ceremony took place underneath a beautiful tree on the property, as friends and family looked on. After a short cocktail hour, the newlyweds made their big entrance into their reception! White and green blooms decorated outdoor reception tables along with lanterns and wine bottle details."

THE PROPOSAL:
Chris and I had planned a weekend in Palm Springs to spend some time together and relax in the sun. The week before our trip, we played a game of Pusoy (our favorite card game) with a pedicure bet on the line. I won the game so Chris and I went to get pedicures. Once there, Chris suggested that I get my fingers done as well and in his favorite color- obviously, I said yes. While this guy was thinking he was super clever, I was thinking he was super obvious… and very cute!

Once in Palm Springs, we spent the day by the pool, grabbed some sandwiches for lunch, and set off to go on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Neither of us had been on it since we were kids so we were pretty excited. On the way up, the views were beautiful and I noticed Chris was a bit quiet. Once we made it to the top, we started to walk around and explore. Now at this point, I noticed that Chris kept trying to get me alone and away from other people so I had a feeling he was either trying to kill me (uh oh) or ask me a certain question- I hoped it was the latter.

Eventually, we made our way down to a private meadow where we found a stump and talked for a bit. After a while, Chris said "Kristin…" and I immediately thought "Uh oh, he used my actual name, not a pet name, am I in trouble?" or "Could this finally be it?"… And it was! Chris got down on one knee and I said "YES!!!". Afterwards, we headed to dinner to celebrate. The next day we relaxed by the pool, swung by the outlets (what is a trip to Palm Springs without THE OUTLETS??), and made it home to celebrate with our parents.

ABOUT THE WEDDING PLANNING:
The best part of wedding planning was envisioning my dream day and literally seeing it come to life, piece by piece. Every single vendor was amazing from watching the band multiple times before the day, bonding with our photographer, coordinating with our planner, and tasting the all the food- everyone was so fun and helpful. The most stressful part of planning was budgeting and handling so many decisions and the mass influx of emails no one warned you about ;)

HOW DID YOU FIND YOUR VENUE & VENDORS?
We first found our venue on Carats and Cake. From the venue, we were recommended our catering, rentals, and planner- all so amazing. We found our band, Word of Mouth, online and saw a few of there gigs and absolutely loved them!! Seriously our favorite part of the entire wedding. Our photographer was our other favorite- we had seen her work on Instagram and her photography style and personality were exactly what we were looking for.

HOW LONG WAS YOUR ENGAGEMENT?
15 months.

ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON:
We traveled to Thailand! We explored around Phuket and Phi Phi. It was absolutely beautiful, had the sweetest people, and the best food! Daily massages and motorbiking around were our favorites :) Definitely worth the flight time!
