"We both knew our wedding just had to be outside. I really wanted a rustic/garden-themed wedding so we mostly searched for venues and spaces that would accommodate that vision. Once we decided the wedding would be in the Fall, I knew my colors had to be burgundy and mauve. Burgundy is one of my favorite colors and looks stunning on all skin tones so I knew my bridesmaids would be happy – bonus points! We opted for a minimalist approach with our décor; I wanted the beautiful scenery to be the focal point. We added floral touches here and there but really wanted to stay true to our rustic vibe. Our flowers had touches of deep red, ivory, mauve, and lots of green. We had farm tables at the reception – no table clothes, just candles, a chiffon runner, and a green garland running along with the tables, accented with gold plated utensils."
