Nautical Newport Beach Yacht Wedding

We are slightly obsessed with all things nautical, and this gorgeous Yacht wedding by RomaBea Images truly took our breath away. The couple’s engagement may have been short, but no detail was left out of their day. The amazing yacht, Eternity from Electra Cruises set the scene perfectly. When a wedding starts with a venue this gorgeous, only good things can follow. The couple’s colors were simple navy, cream and hints of peach- oh so elegant.  Their bridal party was effortlessly styled in Pinterest worthy Adrianna Papell navy lace dresses, and sleek black shoes.  We loved everything about this wedding, especially the personal touches from friends & family that show through.

From the couple: Russell and I loved every second of our wedding day! We are so lucky to have the people in our lives and all the help from our friends and family for helping us make our special day possible. We had been dating for seven years before we tied the knot! But, we knew within the first few months of dating that we would be together forever, so when we got engaged last September, we knew we wanted a quick engagement. We wanted to get married at a venue that was kind of an ‘all in one’, which provided almost everything for you. That’s one of many things we loved about Electra Cruises. They provide so much for you in your price for renting the yacht. By the time we found Electra Cruises, we only had a little over three months to go! It was quick, but with the generous help of my sister and mom, we got it done!

First things first, we had to get invitations out! It was technically a destination wedding because we are not from Newport Beach, so we wanted to give our guests enough time to make travel arrangements. My sister ordered the invites for me; we wanted them plan and simple that that’s just what we got! We also had to choose a bridal party right away. Russell decided to go with his seven brothers, yes seven! And I did six of favorite girls. My cousin and sister helped me find the perfect Adrianna Papell navy lace dress that looked amazing on all the girls. Everyone ordered it online from Nordstrom and it made it so easy and simple, I let all my bridesmaids wear their own black shoes and whatever jewelry they wanted. We put all the groomsmen in dark grey suits, they looked great! I got my dress from David’s Bridal; my best friend got me a beautiful sash to spruce it up! Electra Cruises provided us with options of our D.J., florist, coordinator, photo booth, and wedding cake vendors and we used their caterer. RomaBea Images was suggested to us by a friend and Tiffany Monday was suggested to us by my cousin.

Our favorite part of our wedding was when our officiant pronounced us husband and wife. We know that sounds cheesy but it was something that we had been looking forward to for so long. Our wedding was magical; we had the best time celebrating our love with our friends and family.

Wedding advice: Our best advice is to accept help from friend and family. Its hard work! My sister planned almost the entire wedding and I still felt stressed. Enjoy the entire day, give yourself enough time to get your hair and make-up done before pictures so you don’t feel rushed, and try to thank as many people for coming to your wedding as you can. Lastly, have fun!
