Walnut Grove at Tierra Rejada Ranch Wedding

Take a beautiful rustic ranch, add some gorgeous chic details, and what do you get? This. Something close to pure perfection. This couple made such a beautiful day come to life, in every little detail. This couple incorporated the personal touches oh, so well. From a personalized League of Legends groom cake, to hand made giant Jenga set, they showcased their personal sides. Candice Benjamin Photography made it possible to relive their day, and showing nothing but love and happiness through each and every photo.

About their wedding: When we started to plan our wedding, we knew that the most important things would be to be with all the people we loved, eat delicious food, and to have a lot of fun! With these priorities in mind, we set about creating a bright and joyous party. We settled on a beautiful outdoor venue with a delicious bbq menu.

For the details, we wanted to bring together some of our shared loves and my love of DIY projects! We both work in video games, went to USC and love Disney. We had lawn games, including a giant jenga set that Nathan made by hand, board games set up near the bar area, and I had a surprise grooms cake made with our favorite League of Legends champions on top. The USC marching band performed at our rehearsal dinner, and we incorporated music from Up, Wall-E and Pinocchio in our ceremony music.

In the end , our wedding was everything we hoped it to be: beautiful, happy, and fun! There is no better feeling in the world than to be surrounded by all the people you love as you marry the man of your dreams.

Wedding planning advice: Start early and keep calm! Sit down and think about the things that are really important to both of you. I love baking, so the cake was extremely important to me. Choose the things that are important to you and allocate the most time and budget to those things.

Develop a "must have" and a "nice to have" list, and start checking off all the must have's first. You will not be able to do everything you have on your list, so make sure you get to the important things first, so you can just decide not to do some of the smaller things as you get close to the date.

Just remember that all you really need for a wedding is your partner and some kind of officiant. Everything else is optional :)
