Elegant Wine Country Wedding in Paso Robles

It took Sarah and Cole being all the way in Argentina just to meet each other. They were studying abroad and became friends, but fate quickly intervened. Their parents had bought them airline tickets that happened to be right next to each other on the flight home for Christmas break, which gave Cole the perfect opportunity to make his first move! Although he still denies it, Sarah remembers him trying to play footsie with her while she pretended to be asleep!

When they returned to Argentina, their relationship became much more than just friends. Cole walked Sarah home to where she was staying, and they shared their first kiss. That was the beginning of something new and beautiful! Five years later, Cole proposed at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco in front of their family and close friends.

Although Sarah had originally planned on having their wedding at a more rustic barn venue, the moment they arrived at CaliPaso Winery, they knew it was right for them. It was so unique and already so beautiful that it didn’t need a lot of decorating or work to make it look amazing. Their vision for their wedding was that it would be traditional and feminine but still relaxed and unfussy. Sarah remembers the day being very easy. She was completely relaxed and at ease, and the only thing that really surprised her were her father’s sweet tears when he first saw her in her dress. They kept the ceremony intimate and personal by having her uncle officiate. The day concluded with all the guests forming a giant conga line all around the courtyard! Nothing sums it up better than Sarah’s own words: “It was a perfect day.”
