Watercolor Wedding Inspiration at Tres Lagos by MeghanElise Photography

"Tres Lagos is a brand new Private Estate Wedding Venue that will be making its debut THIS YEAR!! We were the first to capture the beauty of this beautiful and dreamy property! From the moment I did my first walkthrough of Tres Lagos with Nomad Nuptials, my brain was going crazy dreaming up all of the beautiful things we could create there and all the different ways we could utilize the already gorgeous grounds. I knew right away that I wanted to create something soft, dreamy, and romantic. I have always loved watercolors and have always felt they evoke a certain mood. I wanted to create something based off of romantic, rich watercolor tones. Marsala is a trending color this year so I wanted to create a color palette with some marsala, different shades of plums, blush, and creams. To add a little extra hint of romance I went with a slate/dusty blue as an accent color and topped it off with gold pieces at our table. I hand painted the watercolor plates and hand dyed each table linen for an extra bit of drama and color on our table. The beautiful loose strands of ribbon you see hanging from the bouquet are hand dyed strands of sari silk. All beautiful and easy DIY pieces. Lisa, with Tre Fiori Floral studio did such an amazing job bringing my vision to life. I wanted florals that were airy and dreamy, but with a bit of an edge with some unique floral combinations." MeghanElise Photography
