Low-Key SoCal Surf-Chic Wedding in Encinitas

"This couple, who met through mutual friends, were so down to earth and relaxed throughout the entire planning process. They were very in tune with a design that truly reflected their surf culture lifestyles. Paige and Dave hosted their beach ceremony in their hometown of Encinitas and reception at the famous Birds Surf Shed in San Diego. Nicole George, of Nicole George Events, worked with Lauren Sharon Vintage Rentals to create a laid-back and homey atmosphere in the surf-clad warehouse. The use of lounge furniture instead of formal seating, tropical florals, macrame, and bright hues was very suiting to the colorful surfboard backdrop of Bird’s. MIHO Gastrotruck and Snake Oil Cocktail Company were the perfect picks to serve up local eats and yummy craft cocktails. The first look location was located on the side of the bluff at a family friend’s home. The long path Paige had to walk to meet her groom was emotional and picture perfect. The fun bridal party shots on the property were so fitting for this beachy group. Oh, and did you see Paige and Dave’s getaway VW Bus from their ceremony to reception? There is nothing that didn’t perfectly fit their low-key surf chic vibe." -Ashley Williams Photography
