Joshua Tree Engagement Session

Anthony and I have been together since our senior year of high school, meeting when we were only 16 years old in an English class we shared and through a youth group we attended. Since meeting, even at that young of an age, I knew he was the one for me. It’s in the way he looks at me, the way he holds me, and the way he speaks to me – with so much patience and love, always.

So when he finally proposed during his surprise 25th birthday party I organized for him, you can just imagine how excited our family and friends were. In the end, he turned around and surprised me!

When it came time to pick our wedding photographer, the choice was obvious – Jes Workman has been a dream to work with and we could not be more excited for her to capture our love on our wedding day. For our engagement pictures, we knew we wanted something visually unique yet close to home. Being from the Palm Springs area, we chose to take our engagement pictures at Joshua Tree National Park, known for its beautiful Joshua Trees, relaxed vibes, and amazing mountain scenery. It was important for us to capture the views and nature that surrounds us every day and tie it in with our Hispanic roots, adding fresh flowers by Arrangements Floral & Party Design and a Mexican blanket into the mix.

I am happy to say I am marrying my best friend.
