"Russ & Marissa's Engagement took place on a gorgeous mountainside that looks directly over downtown San Luis Obispo. Because of the recent California rains, the mountainside was green and lush-- giving Russ & Marissa's portraits a soft pop of color.
Russ & Marissa were a lot of fun to work with; it's obviously from the portraits how sweet and gentle they are with each other. It didn't take a lot of coax out those loving places and romantic vibes from these two.
We ended the session at the other side of Madonna Mountain at Laguna Lake Park so that we could get some shots with the couple's 1966 Chevy. Their classic styling with the suit & Marissa's romantic curls and deep lip color just paired perfectly with the photographs there were looking to create with the car." -Hannah Kate Photographie
