A DIY Casino San Clemente Wedding
"David proposed in San Clemente, one of our favorite family beach camping spots. He had arranged a secret "girls day" for me and managed to trick me into climbing the cliffs to find him waiting for me, just as the sun was setting. It was perfect! We started planning the wedding together for 9 months later in August. I was finishing my nursing degree at Biola University simultaneously, I am so thankful that David helped out as much as he did! We had been dating for a little under four years, and with two years long distance, as he played basketball for Wayland Baptist University, Texas.
Our goal for our wedding was that God would be glorified thorough our wedding, and all our dearest family and friends would have fun celebrating with us! We had 16 of our closest friends in our bridal party, which was so fun for us to be surrounded by for this celebration! Both of our families helped out in big ways, and made sure everything went smoothly for us. We had such a fun wedding, beautiful venue and weather, and were surrounded by 200 of our dearest friends... what more could we ask for!
One of our favorite moments on our wedding day was just after being introduced as Mr. and Mrs. Cone, sitting down at our head table, looking out to see everyone we love there supporting us and cheering us on as we start our lives together. Also, we did have a pretty great night of dancing thanks to all our friends and my husband who debuted his hidden talent of the splits for all to see! We had a blast!" -bride & groom

Best wedding advice: Make goals for each month leading up to the wedding! That helped us out a lot and we were able to delegate tasks that each of us could do, to help each other out! We used Google Docs a lot and was great to be able to edit something, and the other person could see the changes instantly, instead of telling each other we changed something... It was great!
Honeymooned in: RIU Resort - Ocho Rios, Jamaica // We loved our Jamaican honeymoon! We are pretty biased... but we definitely had the best time! We found such a great deal which allowed us to vacation for almost two weeks! We stayed at the all-inclusive RIU Resort, which was heavenly! We got to enjoy many gourmet dinners, buffets, meals on the beach, and entertainment every night! Not to mention the clearest waters which made our daily snorkeling trips a blast! We took excursions to the mountains for zip-lining, catamaran snorkel cruise, and climbing Dunn's River Falls! We would highly recommend this location to everyone! The service, food, and environment at this resort was all we could ask for and we can't wait to go back someday!
