Griffith Observatory Engagement Session

"These two met online in 2011 and have been best friends since. They had their first date in Santa Monica, which turned into a marathon date (you know it’s going well when that happens!). It started with them getting frozen yogurt, THEN tea, THEN sushi, and finally ended at Griffith Observatory where they shared their first kiss while overlooking the city lights. I love that they didn’t want to leave each other! How cute is that?!

Not only did observatory make sense for Alyson and Tony with it being such a special place for them, but it’s not too shabby to photograph either! It has a perfect view of the Hollywood Sign and is a beautiful place to see Los Angeles – the landscape, the sunset, and finally at the end of the night – the stars and city lights.

Like most people who aren’t used to having a photographer follow them around, Alyson and Tony took a little time to warm up to the session. However, one thing was obvious from the start… they are comfortable with each other and their personality’s just make sense together. Tony has a sense of humor that comes alive whenever he’s around Alyson. Plus, they brought their dog Sloopy and we got some of the cutest pictures with her!"
